In this scenario, Sacramento County discovers a new source of funding or gets an economic stimulus grant and can continue to fund the RSTs at a level which will allow them to replace the occasional light bulb and provide heat and air conditioning in some physician offices. SacDoc can be integrated into the existing RST structure. The cost savings won't be nearly as great since all the overhead of the existing cumbersome paper nightmare will still be there, but it will nonetheless dramatically improve the patient experience as well as physician productivity and satisfaction.
